Lt Gen Andrea Tullos, Air University Commander and President, presented key remarks for the annual AFA Veterans Day Luncheon in November 2023. She addressed Maxwell Air Force Base leaders and members as well as community leaders and veterans from around the river region.
Gen Tullos focused her remarks on developing leaders as warfighters. She discuss how Air University enhances overall service readiness by developing air-minded leaders in a creative and flexible learning environment.
Gen Tullos highlighted the importance of our international partners throughout all AU programs. They help build the long-term networks and relationships critical for advancing mutual national security priorities.
The thanked veterans in attendance and those around the surrounding River Region communities for what they have contributed. She closed her remarks by engaging with the audience on how maxwell AFB and River Region communities develop and inspire the next generation with the Air & Space Forces.
